November 6, (Danville, CA) – The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Induction & Awards Ceremony is a spectacular event where you get to rub elbows with the who’s who of off-road. Every year, the off-road community gathers to recognize the best in the biz for their contributions to the industry and Jason Scherer took home one of ORMHOF’s 2018 Impact Awards for his achievements in rock sports.

It was an incredible honor to receive the votes from my partners and peers. This recognition really emphasizes the stellar year we had. As I look back at where I began to where I am now, I can only be excited for where we are headed. Our team has some big plans for the 2019 season and welcome all new adventures. Loving what you do makes life worth living and we love off-road. I can’t thank everyone enough for standing by me through it all – it’s been a fun ride! – Jason Scherer

Scherer joins a deserving group of ORMHOF Impact Award Winners:

Desert Racing – Ryan Arciero • Short Course – RJ Anderson • MX|UTV|ATV – Phil Blurton
Rock Sports – Jason Scherer • Industry – Joey DiGiovanni, UTV Underground/4 Wheel Parts
Advocate – Charlene Bower, Ladies Off-road Network

Scherer’s sponsors should keep an eye in the mail for a special gift as a ‘thank you’ for another great year! Now that he has ended the season on yet another high note, Scherer is gearing up for the 2019 King of the Hammers in an attempt at winning this prestigious event for a third time. The event is expected to be bigger, better and race tougher than ever before which will require productive shop nights and ample testing over the next few months leading up to the most anticipated off-road challenge of the year.
