Safecraft’s TYLER MCQUARRIE, Top Drift and Best Multi-Purpose Driver to Deliver Safety Seminar at Thunderhill Raceway
Willows, CA – Tyler McQuarrie returns to Thunderhill Raceway* on Saturday, February 25 to provide drivers of the SCCA Driving School with a personal and behind-the-scenes glimpse of some of the factors to consider when choosing, designing and manufacturing fire safety suppression systems. McQuarrie, one of the Top Drift and Best Multi-Purpose drivers, who most recently raced the 25 Hours of Thunderhill, is also Safecraft’s field marketing and product research and development manager who brings a unique first-hand knowledge of safety issues facing the professional driver behind the wheel and solutions provided by the manufacturer of Safecraft extinguishers, the motorsport’s industry standard for safety ,quality and innovation.
McQuarrie will address more than 75 drivers and staff at the Thunderhill Raceway Club House during a 3-day SCCA Driving School program held at the track. The event, “Safecraft Safety Equipment ‘Safety Seminar’” will be held on the second floor with a complimentary taco bar and margaritas, courtesy of Safecraft.

The All-Star team placed 3rd (ES Class) and 5th Overall after completing over 700 laps on the 3-mile raceway. About Tyler McQuarrie:
Tyler McQuarrie grew up in Walnut Creek, CA and started racing karts when was 14. He won the Formula Russell Championship and the Russell Triple crown in 1998. McQuarrie is the 3rd and only American to win the World Scholarship in England and then spent 2 years racing formula Vauxhall in Europe. He has also spent time racing USF2000, American LeMans, USAC Sprint cars and NASCAR West Series. McQuarrie has since become one of the top drift drivers in Formula Drift and is also one of the best multi-purpose drivers in the country. In 2016, Tyler competed in Formula Drift, Trophy Truck, Stadium Super Trucks, ARCA, IMSA and NASA as part of his #RaceEverything campaign. Tyler is also Safecraft’s field marketing and research and development manager. He travels the country delivering safety seminars at driving schools, racetracks and tradeshows.

Thunderhill Raceway Park is a Motorsports Complex located 7 miles West of Willows, California at 5250 Hwy 162.
San Francisco Region Properties, Inc., dba Thunderhill Park is the wholly owned subsidiary of the San Francisco Region Sports Car Club of America. Thunderhill Raceway has its own board of directors and operates completely independently of the non-profit subsidiary.

Thunderhill is also the site of the longest automobile race in the United States; the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The race is held annually during the first weekend in December and is sanctioned by NASA (National Auto Sport Association).
